This might be one of the best psychotherapy books I've come across, especially on the topic of resistance and I wonder why this was the first review of it. The only reason I could think of is that the book is quite expensive, which according to Jon Frederickson of the ISTDP Institute is because it never was reprinted, and consequently not too many copies still exist.By Andr頊erk峠
If you are interested in learning more about ISTDP or just therapeutic resistance this books is top notch! I think that if you could just understand and be able to use a fraction of what is taught in this book you probably get a whole lot out of it.
The cases are excellent, and the authors comments along the way are very satisfying and I have learned a lot from it.
