Practical Statistics for Nursing and Health Care
The book is very useful as an introduction to applications of statistics principles in health care. It is an entry level guide to statistics and discusses most of the topics usually covered in more depth in two semesters of college level statistics courses. There are some very practical "rules of thumb" which serve as useful shortcuts to the more complicated math calculations and which illustrate complicated concepts very well.
